Great track especially for the price! Front nine is a little back and forth, back 9 is super fun, no holes are really alike. Greens were nice, couple infections on random ones, but nothing crazy. Fairways were really nice. Definitely come check it out!
The course was in good shape considering how dry it has been. The 90-degree from the cart path rule was in effect due to the amount of water used. There were multiple holes where the fairway was in a valley. Many soft spots where water collected. There was casual water in the bunkers. There were tee and green elevation changes that made the course more challenging with their wide open fairways. The greens were fast but fair. It's really easy to roll a putt 6ft by if you're not careful. The penalties for driving off the fairway weren't too punishing. I didn't lose a single ball, and I sprayed the ball all over the place.
The pro shop staff was courteous and helpful. The gas-powered carts took some getting used to, considering most courses have electric carts now. The driving range left some to be desired. The mats were thin and worn. The mats were narrow, leaving only a certain area to be used over and over.
I will play this course again when visiting Reno.
Fair prices, nice driving range, looks like a nice golf course. Came in to hit some balls and the golf shop took care of me. It's close to midtown Reno so if you live close to it, definitely give it a try. Would return here to actually play the full course.
“Bland” is probably the best way to describe this course in one word. It looks like a golf course that was built on top of an old construction site, but the evidence of the construction site still remains to an extent. The entire course being walled in by a chain link fence certainly lends to that feeling.
I’m from out of town and the rental clubs were disappointing. Banged-up Pings from probably the mid-2000s. Missing the 7 iron. They did rent a Scotty putter which was nice, but that didn’t compensate for the rest of the set.
The course was incredibly backed up mid-day on a Tuesday, which may be a normal thing for the Reno area. I’ve never seen it but I’m not going to jumo to conclusions. This pace could quite possibly have been due to a few folks playing slow since the tee times were 10 minutes apart, which is reasonable. I’ve just never played a course that was that badly backed up.
All-in-all, you can find much better public courses in the area for around the same price, but maybe as much as $20 more for a round. I’d highly suggest looking at some of those instead of spending your time and money here
Great public course to have a cig and a PBR. No need for your polo and pressed pants.
Great golf course! Not to expensive, the staff in the pro shop were really friendly. Course is in pretty good shape. Would go back to play this course again.
Great course! Decent shade and I appreciate that the pin is right next to the tee box of the following hole.
Good golf course, good staff, maintenance crew works there hardest there to keep the course the best it has been in the last 10yrs overall.
